Two cases of a sister and a brother aged 5 and 2 years respectively deliber ately poisoned to death by the severely depressed mother who at the same moment attempted suicide by taking the same poisonous drug (arsenic) are reported the mother and the sister were survived but the brother was dead. The recovered child demonstrated the following emotional reactions when first met her mother after the incidence-worriness, fear, anxiety, distrust and a short period of depression.
