The “E” (for Ecstasy) and “Love” pills are both synthetic derivatives of the amphetamines. They share most of the common amphetamine pharmacological and clinical properties. Neurochemically, they all enhance the availability of the neurotransmitters Dopamine, Serotonin and Norepinephrine at the neuronal synapse.
