ECT is now used to treat the patients suffered from some specife psychiatric disorders. Only the modified method of ECT is recommended. The electrode placement can be applued bilatterally or unilaterally. It si preferable to have ECT with EEG monitor. Brief-pulse stimulator ECT would make the patient ledd amnesic.
