The Department of Mental Health has preceded a community mental health policy for the better living of people in the community. Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry has designed a networking project to take care of schizophrenia patients, under cooperation with Bangkok Municipality. I believe that this is a serious issue that urgently needs to be in concerned, therefore, I created this qualitative research in order to study and explain the impact of participation of the patients' cousins, as well as the patiens' self-nurture characteristics of the patients' mother. This research will be focused on the populations (paper based) and key informants, which are 4 of the patient's mother. The tools using in this research is structured observation plan, notation, In-depth interview guide, Group Discussion, Questions and Answers and Persons and placer recording. The data will be collected by making appointment on the patients' home visits within 1 month after the patient has been discharged from the hospital. Once the data has been collected and analyzed, it will be describe in the research in order to exchange and publish the research results to the academic seminar of 5th International Conference for Mental Health 2006. Also, the research will be utilized as guidelines to treat patient and be adapted to other researches.
