The objective of the research is on the effectiveness of the Simplified Psychiatric Classification and Standard Management Pretocol Manual for the elderly patients at the primary Care Unit. This study focuses on the understanding of health personal on psycho-social management prior and after using the manual, the satisfactory of health personnel on the usefulness of the manual, and the satisfactory of elderly patients prior and after receiving psycho-social care services. There were 30 health personnel and 310 elderly patients participted in this research conducting at a primary health care unit Samutprakarn province. The results indicate that the manual improves the health personnel ability to identify and evaluate the psychaitric disorder at statistically significant level 0.05. In addition, the health personnel moderately to highly satisfy with the effects of content in the manual. Finally, the elderly patients after receiving psycho-social services are satisfied at the statistically significant level 0.05.
