รายละเอียด / Details:

According to exploring the long term course and behavioral changes in adolescent period of autistic disorder, it is well documented that autism is a lifelong. Although the core features of autism gradually improve with age and developmental level, the majority of autistic people show deviance and socially or psychiatrically handicapping conditions throughout life. Especially During adolescent period, some autistics have behavioral problems such as aggression, self-injurious behavior, depression and seizure. An 18 years old adolescent male diagnosed of autistic disorder since the age of 4 years old was reported. Even though he has high function and has attended intensive interventions for autistics for years, autistic symptoms have still persisted. Therefore longitudinal outcome studies of autism are particularly helpful in addressing the appropriate and most effective treatment approach for adolescent and adult autistics.
