ชื่อเรื่อง/Title: How to Start, Plan, and Structure a Manuscript: A Beginner Guide.

รายละเอียด / Details:

Health professionals who are new to medical writing are sometimes daunted by the preparation process and fail to publish their work in appropriate journals. Due to limited space of a scientific journal, effective writing communication is a must for manuscript preparation. At the start, an investigator should be able to identify the key message of his/her paper and estimate its impacts. If the investigator decides to go further, he/she should begin the manuscript preparation with a thoughtful planning. The planning stage includes targeting the audience, making a decision on authorship, and collecting relevant documents needed. Structure of a manuscript is not only the use of manuscript structure but also the matter of getting the right things in the right place. Although the concept of IMRAD (introduction, methods, results, and discussion) is the backbone of a manuscript, the structure of each part is also important. Together with correct grammar and good style, the prepared manuscript would be concise and easy to read and has an increased chance of being accepted for publication.
