A study was conducted to examine the dimensional structure of the health locus of control in drug addicted adolescence. Data were draw from 103 drug addicted adolescence at the outpatient unit in the Northeastern Drug Department Treatment Center, Khon Kean. The Multidimensional Health Locus of Control Scale (MHLC) developed by Wallston, Wallston and De Vellis was utilized. Multidimensional scaling was performed to test the dimension of the scale. Findings indicated that three dimensions of MHLC accounted for the most of the variance in respondents perceptions:locus stability and controllability. The results could be a benefit of future studies and program development in behavioral changes.
