The community mental health service has changed the concept of psychiatric care from custodial care to community based services. Since 1963 the concept of community mental health services has been well known in U.S.A. The purpose of program is to provide a varied rangeof coordinated mental health services factors such as its mental health problem, local population need, resources and community participation. The essential services compose of inpatient care, outpatient care, partial hospitalization, emer gency care and consultation and education. In order to provide the full comprehensive services 5 more services are included, they are diagnosis services, Rehabilitation service, precare and after care, traning, and research and evaluation.
