The objective of this study is to find out ideas and attitude of the 93 fortune-tellers, 33 males and 65 fermales who live in the North-Eastern provinces of Thailand. The study was done by the use of questionaired. The result are concluded as followed : Most of them have agreed that people, in the North-Eastern, have mental health problem especialy at this time of economic crisis. They are indirect need of mental health services. All fortunetellers in this study believe that they can alleviate, at least in part, the problem of the people. However, they are also aware of their short coming in their knowledge and skill about mental health practice and need the support from government sector. This will enable them to be more confident in giving their service to the benefit of a greater number of people.
